Beta NWN2 (English) Patch – Windows

Beta Patches are early release versions of future patches that allow you to see changes before they are distributed widely in official patches. They also provide you with an opportunity to give us feedback and to identify issues with patches before they are released.
NOTE: Beta Patches are a snapshot of a patch in development, and are a work in progress. As such, it is recommended you back up critical saved game/character files before applying any patch. These files are located in your “My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2” folder. Additionally, Beta Patches may contain bugs and other issues. If you find you are having problems with a Beta Patch, please visit the Official Neverwinter Nights 2 Forums: Technical Support (Self-Help) Forum for more information and to report the issues you are seeing.
In order to download and apply the latest Beta patch, please follow these instructions:
First, you will need to update your game to the latest official version. Run the game via your Start Menu and press the "Update" button on the launcher menu. If you have any problems during the update process, please check the following places for more information:

Download the Patch Installer
You will now need to download the patch installer from the following site:
Run the Patch Installer
Next, navigate to the folder where you downloaded the patch installer file and run it. If you have any issues with the beta patch, please check the Official Neverwinter Nights 2 Forums for more information and post any issues you have.
Run the Game!
Run the game! The Launcher and Game should now report that you are running the latest beta version of the game.
Rolling Back to the Official Version of NWN2
As stated before, beta patches are works in progress and as such may have bugs or other issues. If, for any reason, you need to revert to the latest official patch, follow these instructions:
Download the Installer for the Rollback Patch
You will now need to download the patch reverter from the following site:
Run the Rollback Patch Installer
Next, navigate to the folder where you downloaded the rollback patch installer file and run it. If you have any issues with the rollback patch installer, please check the Official Neverwinter Nights 2 Forums for more information and post any issues you have.
Run the Game!
Run the game! The Launcher and Game should now report that you are running the latest official version of the game.
